The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it encounters the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves on.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best robot wet mop performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It can even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the Cheap Robot Vacuum is also very effective.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating.
