1. Babyzen YOYO2

The base frame weighs less than a kilogram, and is so light you can lift it out of the box using just one hand.

It's also simple to add or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks - as well as being machine washable to prevent staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely once folded. It is easy to move however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tried, but it's not the easiest to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. It is missing certain features we believe are essential in double strollers. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair, and is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to carry baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old, easily changing between a seat and a carrycot in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.

It is really easy to maneuver and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through everyday bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position or swivel. This is helpful in rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel while walking along the stony path. It handled the situation well, although it seemed a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a little heavier than other strollers we tried, however the wheels are made of rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's deep enough for an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). This budget single fold pushchair pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined into various positions. It also comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't ideal - it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned so that they face each the other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This should reduce sibling arguments over who gets seated with mom and dad. It has a huge gear tray, bottle holder snack tray, and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest running strollers you can purchase for your child. It comes with amazing safety features, including a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake than other models that are a twist.

The seat is comfortable and has plenty of room to sit, but the seat's depth is lower than other joggers that we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin comes with a zippered cover to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and infant car seats however, you can use them from the very first day with adapters that fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble with no tools. The manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
