WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item upgrade level of the item upgrading being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using a button, which displays an image of the item at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

upgrade items costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items, including the main Island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrading increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only available via a variety of ways. This is both a positive and an issue.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. After a player has upgraded to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item upgrader kit level upgrade (Click at Google) level, will cost less. This is true regardless of whether the items are from another set of equipment.

The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is account-wide. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is cut as well, but is only available when certain milestones are achieved.

Crests

Players have a variety of choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that crests are only available for gear that is of a particular rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, depending on the type or gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing content of the appropriate level, which means walking around and doing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, dungeons or raids of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for endgame gear. These crests can be exchanged with an item upgrader kit upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and pathways.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the process of upgrading. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests wisely, as they have only one purpose. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all of the slots are full of high-quality gear.
