The Xplore also has two canopies that move from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or naps.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have as much flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a second stroller that's affordable. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store into a car trunk. It also offers an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential for a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's latest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted in only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and reversible carriage.

It is really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite being a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps well and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to fold and can fit into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It weighs more than other strollers we tested, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain. It's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

The chassis comes with a suspension system built-in that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. It also comes travel system equipped with the ability to include a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are only one action and are color coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This single stroller pushchair pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also very light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in various positions. It also comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can face each other or be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling disputes over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a huge gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack trays. It also comes with a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The manual is simple to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
