The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate during our walk on an uneven path. It handled the situation well, though it did seem a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and can fit into the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't ideal - it's not as silent as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned so that they face each the other. They can also be oriented to face the parents. This can help to lessen sibling fights about who sits with mom and dad.
