The E10S is an entry-level robotic vacuum and mop designed to take the strain of everyday chores while still providing regular cleaning you'd expect at home. It's a mid-range Robot Vacuum Mops mop and vacuum that is between entry-level models that have tiny dust bins onboard and no mopping capability, and ultra high-end robotic cleaners that have multiple tanks and a robust mop heads. In our tests, the E10S was able to save time and delivered an adequate level of cleaning, though it requires a little hand-held maintenance to ensure it's running.

The E10S takes around four hours to fully charge, but once it is fully charged, it starts up and will begin cleaning the house. This gives you enough time to conduct a regular weekly cleaning session. The robot will map out your home, then creates a cleaning schedule using the GPS of your phone. You can define zones and rooms. You can also manually start cleaning at any time by using the onboard buttons or the app.

Our test participants discovered that the E10S was efficient in removing most dirt and debris, with a few minor exceptions. It had a difficult time with certain sticky spills and had a hard getting into tight corners. Its mopping features are limited to a single mop pad in the back of the machine, and it's not always able to lift it up when it's placed on a surface like wood floors or carpet.

The E10S robotic is attractive and well-engineered. It is also easy to operate. The base station is elegant and is easy to use. It has an open front with perspex that allows you to see when it's time to empty. It also has an easy-to-use ledge that allows it to stand on its own when placed on a flat area. Unlike most robots, the E10S utilizes a bagless multi-cyclonic technology that's just as easy to empty like a normal vacuum.

Dyson Detect

Dyson the company that is known for its TikTok hair stylers and high-tech cordless vacuums with a futuristic look, has now entered the world of motorized mopping. This is the case with the V15s Detect Submarine, which can be used to vacuum and then mop on hard floors, by using its revolutionary Fluffy Optic Cleaner Head for hard floors, which comes with an integrated laser as well as the classic Digital Motorbar Cleaner Head.

Like the other V15s models, this model can be turned into a handheld device by distancing its main wand, and attaching any of eight tools it includes directly to the dust bin which includes a brand-new anti-tangle hair screw. It includes 56 teeth made of polycarbonate that slice up strands of human and pet hair to allow them to be carried into the canister rather than stuck around the brush head itself. It also features three power levels as well as an hygienic system for emptying the bin that holds debris until it's cleared of.

Another useful feature is V15s Detect's LCD screen that is intelligent, which displays what is the current mode ('Auto Eco,' 'Auto and 'Boost'), how much battery life remains and a precise graph that depicts exactly what you're sucking up, from large chunks of dirt to tiny skin particles and allergens. You can set a reminder that will remind you to empty your trash canister at regular intervals. This is a great method to ensure that you don't overflow.

It's also a breeze to use. After a full battery charge the V15s Detect only takes 4.5 hours to reach 100% runtime. To start cleaning, simply snap on your preferred attachments and press the select button to select the mode you want to use. When you're done, the LEDs on the front of the machine will turn green to show that everything has been cleaned up.

One polarizing aspect of this vacuum is its trigger-operated off/on system that some people find to be taxing for long cleaning sessions. Dyson has addressed this issue in the later models, using an on/off button and a larger bin. This is a good idea given the amount of debris the vacuum is able to pick up. The vacuum also requires a special filter that can be removed from the base and cleaned under running water to keep it working at its peak.

Kenmore STRATUS

The Kenmore STRATUS is an automated bagless vacuum cleaner, which can also mop. It has a color-coded dust cup and adjusts its suction to match the cleanliness of your floor. It's not the most durable or powerful model, but it performs well on a variety of surfaces, and is particularly efficient in cleaning stairs that are carpeted. The only disadvantages of this model are its tiny dust container and limited battery life.

Shark EZ Robot

Shark is a well-known vacuum brand that produces some of the top robot vacs on the market. Its AV911S Model EZ is designed to compete with the top brands like the Roomba i7+. This model addresses many of the issues that plague other models by adding self-emptying capability and offering greater maneuverability. It also requires less time to recharge and has lower recurring costs than iRobot.

It's easy to set up this robot straight from the box. You just need to put the two side brushes into position and then set the dock station on the mat included. It's simple to use, as well and allows you to begin, stop, and send it back to dock via buttons on its top and through its companion app. It can also connect to Alexa or Google Home devices if you prefer to use voice commands to control it.

In our tests the AV911S SharkNinja EZ Wi-Fi Robot Vacuum XL Base demonstrated strong suction capabilities and efficient mapping capabilities. It is small enough to be able to clean under tables and couches, too, and can even return to areas that require additional cleaning. It is unable to remove debris from low-lying obstacles, such as cords.

The EZ Robot has a number clever features that make it easy to use and maintain such as automatic emptying. It also comes with a dedicated odor-neutralizer. If you prefer to control the robot using your smartphone, it's easy to connect it with Alexa and Google Home devices. The companion SharkClean app is a bit feature-rich but not particularly intuitive, and it's prone to freezing. You can use the app to switch the suction power mode, instruct the vac to start cleaning or return to the dock, set up a cleaning session, monitor the vac's charge status and maintenance history, and set up push notifications. You'll need an 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to utilize it. The IQ Robot is equipped with physical control buttons, which permit you to switch modes or stop the operation by pressing on the purple Clean button. It also has a Find Robot button that will locate the vac in case it's lost.
