It is easy to maintain using a dirtbag that can be replaced easily and also a simple schedule of maintenance. It's also less expensive than its more expensive rivals.

The Q5 Pro is a bit picky when it comes bulkier debris and pet hair, but it does an excellent job overall. In our tests, the Q5 Pro was able to remove more debris from bare carpet and floors with low pile than the Dirt Devil Endura Max. The straight suction floorhead of the vacuum is too low for bulky or medium-sized debris. Despite these limitations however, the Eureka Q5 Pro is a excellent choice to those seeking an affordable, basic robot vacuum with mopping capability.

3. SwitchBot K10 Plus

The SwitchBot K10 Plus is a great choice for those who want a powerful vacuum that also mop. The robot is compact design that lets it get into narrow spaces like corners and under furniture that larger robots are unable to reach. It also has a LiDAR sensor that can detect obstacles and prevent collisions.

During our testing during testing, the K10 Plus quickly and efficiently vacuumed up dust, pet hair, crumbs and other debris from our hardwood and carpet floors. It also did an excellent job of getting into tight places like under our beds and around chair legs. It can be used to mop using a separate cloth or use a wet wipe. There's a small set of wet wipes that comes with the K10 Plus to get you up and running.

The app for K10 Plus is easy to use and understand. It comes with a variety of options for customization, including setting a time when the machine will not be disturbed, changing its map layout and setting a schedule of when it should clean. The app monitors the life expectancy of accessories like the side brush, sensor and bin filter. This helps you know when it's time to replace them.

The K10 Plus's battery life is pretty good too. We could get approximately three hours of cleaning out of it with the full charge. It also recharges fairly quickly. It releases dirt into a bin located in the base station when it's finished. It can be quite loud, but it's not as loud as other robot vacuums we've examined.

4. iRobot S9+

iRobot Roomba S9+ is part of the company's premium S Series lineup above models like the iRobot Roomba j7 and iRobot Roomba i3. It is very effective on different floor surfaces and maneuvers effectively around furniture. Its main brushroll features counter-rotating rubber scrapers which effectively remove all debris, including pet hair, from bare floors and carpets. The suction power it produces is strong for a robot vacuum, but isn't as strong as that of premium alternatives like the Roborock S8.

The Roomba S9+'s design is definitely high-end, with a D-shaped body that is more modern than its circular competitors. This unique shape also helps it reach corners and along edges more easily. It can still leave dust behind in these areas if you don't turn the corner brush quickly enough. However, its powerful motor compensates for it.

In iRobot's tests, the S9+ was able to take in kitty litter and pet hair easily. It also did exceptionally well on hard floors, where it used its powerful motor to blast through most types of debris and clean the edges and corners effortlessly. Its vSLAM technology is the most advanced. Imprint Smart Mapping technology also made it one of the most efficient navigators we've tested, with an unshakeable grasp of its floorspace that can even locate its way under beds or sofas with the drape of a valance over them.

The iRobot App makes it easy to set up and operate. You can choose the functions you'd like to activate when setting up the robot, or you can wait until after you've gotten a feel for it. The internal bin must be manually emptied after it has become full however, the process only takes 15 minutes and is fairly quiet.

The device can automatically switch between energy efficient 'Quiet' Balanced', 'Turbo' and" modes based on the surface that it is cleaning. It also comes with an Carpet Suction Boost mode that increases suction while the robot is positioned on rugs.

You can manage the S8 by pressing one button that can be used as a general 'Clean button' or a "Spot Clean button to direct the robot to that specific area. Press the 'Dock/Home' button to direct the robot to its base station. The app is easy to use and comes with an impressive array of features. The only drawback to the S8 is that its battery does not last as long as it could, allowing only 130 minutes of usage when I left it on its default settings with both mopping and vacuuming enabled. Still, that's an impressive amount of time, and it was enough to thoroughly clean my apartment.
