It's a tempting mid-range vacuum cleaner although it can't meet its promise to be a one-stop shop for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be a standard robotic cleaner from the top. It has a circular form, the sweeping wheels, as well as an elevated sensor area. This budget-friendly robot from a renowned new brand is the most affordable we've ever tested and offers exceptional value for the money. Its basic navigation system uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm that isn't equipped with room mapping capabilities, which makes it less time efficient than the other models on this list. Shark's iQ may not appear as well-built, but it is better in cleaning pet hair off all surfaces. It gets rid of floors with less efficiently and does a decent job on carpets with a low pile, and it makes use of smart-pathing navigational technology for superior maneuverability. It also allows you to transfer it to a particular room, and its sophisticated suite of automation features include no-go zones and scheduling. It lets you stop and resume cleaning sessions making it ideal for homes with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll eliminates tangles and can hold up to 30 day's worth of dirt. It also comes with an array of angled side brushes that dig deep into corners, and its multi-stage filtration system can capture dust, dander and allergens for a cleaner air.
