The LED lighting adds an appealing feature. The bins for storage inside have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers include temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and shut however I found the plastic's textured coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price, including Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and offers numerous options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill it's an option in a handful of other GE fridges that allow you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to pour out at once. The fridge displays a countdown timer to show you how much water remains, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like a seamless piece in your kitchen. If you're looking for an French door fridge that doesn't break the bank, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a basic refrigerator which may not be as appealing as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a an excellent option. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer which helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker and a water dispenser.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you divert some of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, so you can keep food items that require extra attention. You can adjust this feature using the slider located on the on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge, however, I've found that changing the general settings tends have a better effect than specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different parts of the fridge. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't vary much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a good performance but isn't quite at the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
