It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as well jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to 'perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents who are looking for an adaptable stroller. It transforms from a single pro stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle, meaning parents can pick which mode they prefer on their trip. The wagon can accommodate one or two children from 6 months to five years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate all your needs when you are on the move.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it's not able to lock tight after folding. It is easy to move however, and can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. But, it's lacking some critical features that we think you should not compromise on in a double stroller, for example, a larger basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent addition to Maxi-Cosi's Hauck Rapid 4D Pushchair - Compact All-Round Stroller range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot in just only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat reclines with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to help their child in and out. The narrow pushchair sailed through all day bumps and doorways effortlessly.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, though it did seem a little bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to fold and can fit in the boot of a car even with a carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver across various terrains and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal UV50and sun canopy extension. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It's a frame made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It has a number of stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was simple to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the car through narrow streets.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be rolled and repositioned for easy transport down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system ready with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes are only one action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a handy carrying strap. It's also extremely light and durable. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't perfect because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be configured to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face one another or rotate around to face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling rivalries over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It comes with a large tray for gears, a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has an automatic frame lock as well as a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal jogger for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest strollers you can buy for your child. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and comes in a variety of languages.
