It was able to withstand cobbles, grass and rough pavements, as well as dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath said that "it is solid to push and is very stable when going over difficult terrain. Its tyres, which are inflatable and require to be pumped up regularly and have a suspension built-in. It was extremely comfortable for my children.

Most models come with compact folding options that let you remove the front wheels and store them more compactly.

Easy to Manoeuvre

A three-wheeled buggy is easier to maneuver with children. The way they are built means that the front wheels spin on a dime and are extremely easy to maneuver which makes them perfect for tricky terrain such as parks, cobbles and bumpy pavements as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her toddler and newborn and said: "The Terrain was a pleasure to maneuver over tough ground, with the swivel front wheel being especially helpful. I was also awed by how well it dealt with kerbs, especially when using the hand-operated brake. It was very stable going downhill or on a rough terrain."

The only downside of this incredible maneuverability is that the 3 wheel buggy's larger wheels sometimes mean that it can struggle in tight spaces - something to consider if you live in a city area. If this is the case then a 4-wheeled buggy could be a better option for you.
