The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current Best item upgrader for one of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.

Players can roll their equipment using three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade item, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item upgrader kit will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
