In our tests the RoboVac 11S performed better than its predecessor, eufy RoboVac 30C. It also was more efficient than ILIFE A4s, Bobsweep Bob Pro, and the ILIFE A4s. The dirt compartment is bigger and it has a longer maximum battery life, and it clears more debris from plain floors to carpets that are high and low-pile. It is also built better and easier to maintain and has lower recurring costs and moves more efficiently.

This isn't the ideal robot vacuum for floors with no carpet however it's a good option for those with carpets that are medium and pets. It uses random navigation and sensors in its underbelly and bumper to navigate through obstacles. It's not as advanced as the mapping technology used in other robots, however it works well enough and it gets into places that other robots aren't able to reach. It also has several spin brushes for cleaning along walls and an enlarged 0.6-liter dirt bin. It comes with a physical remote control with a monochrome display, charging dock with four side brushes that can be attached and two additional filters and an instrument for cleaning.

The Q5 is among the most slow robots we've tested, but its layout algorithm is reliable and doesn't need any additional attention after its first run through an area. It begins by tracing a perimeter, and then fills the interior with parallel lines. Once the job is done it goes back to the charging station if it was not at the base.

It did an excellent job of cleaning hardwood floors by sucking at least 88% dirt off each test. It had a little more trouble on carpets with high and low piles, but it still did better than the average unit. It also comes with mopping attachments that can remove wet spills. We didn't test it.

Its maneuverability is higher than average for a robot that has lidar, and it is able to softly bump into furniture and other obstacles. Its navigation system is able to detect stairs and floors, allowing it to effectively tackle multistory homes. It also can recognize specific rooms when you choose them on the app. It can also alter its power level, establish no-go zones and view the map of the cleaning area.
