Best Self-Empting Robot Vacuums and Mops

The Introducing eufy RoboVac LR30: Hybrid+ Auto Vacuum 11S is one of the cheapest self-emptying robot vacuums on the market. It efficiently sucked up dry oatmeal from hard floors and carpets with a low pile during our tests. Its dust bin is open and empty quickly, making it much easier to use than some other models at its price range.

It is charged at its base and then resumes cleaning as soon as it's ready. But its obstacle-avoidance system is caught in socks and cords and it can't go under low thresholds.

1. iRobot 11S

The 11S is one the cheapest self-emptying robots, and a lot of people seem to love it. It is great at maneuvering under furniture and is thought to be a good option for people with hard floors or who want to perform light daily cleaning. Its suction is a bit less powerful than our top picks, however it's still able to do the job. It also has a large dirt bin and a battery that can last for over an hour. The app lets you schedule your daily cleaning or pick a room. You can also map your home to allow the device to avoid areas you don't want it visit.

The app is simple to use and has a clear layout. It doesn't include any advanced features, but it's simple enough to use and makes it easy to track the status of your robot. It also has an excellent tutorial that will guide you through the basics.

Bounce Navigation's cleaning pattern isn't always logical. Sometimes it follows straight lines and other times it focuses on the edges of the space. But it cleans your entire floor. It's not the most effective at climbing over obstacles. It struggled to get under our pet food bowls and pedals for the piano, and ended up getting stuck in our 2.25 inch shag carpet a few times.

We think that there are better robot vacuums on the market than the 11S. The iRobot Roomba 694 is better-built and easier to maintain, has lower recurring costs and is less time-consuming to charge. It also has a bigger dustbin and performs better on all surfaces, and it can overcome low-lying obstructions (like electrical cords) more easily.

The RoboVac 11S is a good choice for regular vacuuming. It shares a similar design to our top pick and is great in removing smaller and fine dust from hard floors. It does a good job on carpets with medium or low pile. Like the iRobot Roomba, it has a very large dirt compartment, and it uses BoostIQ to automatically adjust suction power. It also comes with a remote control that's easy to operate and allows you to program daily cleaning routines with the app. The battery lasts for around an hour and the bin is easy to empty by taking it from its dock.

2. Roborock S7 maxV Ultra

Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra robot mop and vacuum is an excellent robot with a surprising array of automated features. The Roborock S7 MaxV comes in three models of the basic S7 model, the S7 Plus model and the S7 Ultra. The S7 MaxV Ultra is the only one equipped with an Empty Wash Fillet Dock (or an alternative Auto-Empty Dock). These docks allow the robot to return to its home base after a cleaning session and empty the debris it has collected into a dust collection bag or reservoir, drain its clogged water tank and wash its mopping pad.

The S7's sensors work to eliminate obstacles and clean floors. It can detect flooring types and save a map for rooms and zones. It even detects dirt levels. It also has the ability to plan and execute spot cleaning sessions. It did well in standard tests, but could not match the iRobot Roomba j7+ for the carpet deep cleaning test.

You can program the S7 by using the companion app to run a cleaning routine in accordance with your schedule. You can select a cleaning mode like eco or automatic, and a weekday, day or even a time. You can also choose whether the robot should stop if it is running out of power or encounters an obstacle.

You can still make use of the S7 even if you don't have an Android phone by connecting the charging dock to a remote control. The controls on the remote are a bit confusing however once you've got the hang of them they work well. The Shark IQ XL is a good vacuum cleaner. It does a good job of cleaning floors with no dust and can maneuver itself well. However the Shark IQ XL feels a little less solidly built than the Roomba 694. It's good at cleaning carpeted floors, however, it isn't as efficient as the iRobot Roomba i7 when it comes to bare floor performance. The i7 is also more robust, feels more durable and robust, has lower maintenance requirements, has lower costs for recurring expenses, charges faster while offering comparable battery performance, and offers the most advanced automation features, such as no-go zones as well as the ability to choose specific rooms for a clean.

4. iRobot J7+

The j7+ performed well in our tests on hard and carpeted floors, getting rid of all the dirt we threw at it.
