Torion 4550 LiHV battery experiment (part 2)

I took the Torion 4550 LIPO battery, which gave good results when discharged at 10A with a discharger, to the circuit and ran it. The Sunpadow 5100 battery used for comparison weighs 216g. The Torion 4550 weighs 165g, so it is about 50g lighter and has a lower center of gravity. However, I was concerned about the resulting decrease in performance... The result was very good performance. The punch at the moment you grab the throttle is greater with the Sunpadow 5100 I've been using until now, but the Torion battery also has plenty of punch. In the case of a carpet buggy, I think the toughest condition for a battery is probably "when exiting a hairpin curve" when you open the throttle all at once, but even at this time I don't feel a lack of power. With the Torion 4200 I bought previously, there was a clear delay in this scene and I was unable to make the "big jump" on the previous layout of the Tsukupar. But the 4550 gives you plenty of acceleration (although a strict side-by-side comparison is not possible because the layout is different). Moreover, by being 50g lighter than the current battery, the body moves more nimbly than ever before, which I felt was a big advantage. At the moment, I'm so used to the behavior of the machine with the old battery that I couldn't reach my best time (15.5s), but even with the Torion 4550 LIPO, I was able to achieve a best time of -0.2 seconds (15.7s), so if I practice more and review the settings, it will be a great weapon to improve my best time. However, I've been using the Sunpadow 5100 for over a year now, and I've reaffirmed that it is a really good battery. Unfortunately, perhaps due to Sunapadow's policy, the Gold batteries are being dropped from the catalog one after another, and the only options are the expensive Platinum or the slightly cheaper Blue, but in my experience testing the full-size Blue of the TC, it has shown performance that is almost as good as the Gold, so I recommend this Blue battery even for short buggies.
