It's been a week since we moved. I'm still tired (lol) Actually. It was supposed to be a smooth move with the "Leave it to us" package. I don't know if we chose the wrong moving company or if the salesman was just bad. Either way, working like a mover in your mid-40s is hard on the body. I'm really regretting it... We have a lot of dishes and glasses, so I've sworn to make sure we have three packers next time. Now. I significantly reduced the amount of dishes and glasses before we moved. I've started storing the carefully selected ones I brought with me in IKEA's Besto. 9 years ago. I used Besto in our new home in Kagurazaka, but it's getting better and better! This time, I arranged the combination as shown in the photo above. I made a display area and installed lighting. The Baccarat Harcourt series, a collection I've been collecting for years, is sooooo beautiful when lit up! After all, it really makes a difference when the cut is beautiful. Just looking at this storage area gets me excited. At the moment, I'm having a hard time finding a place... The closet. Yes, it's a storage space called a closet, a relic from the Showa era. The inside of the closet is nicely painted white, and the floor is reinforced with a board called MDF. I need to store vases and other items in this space so that they are easy to use. It's deep. But it's not deep enough to be a walk-in... It's really hard to use... Just like the Showa era! (bitter smile) It's really difficult. In the end, I didn't even use up half of the cardboard boxes I unpacked... Unpacking while thinking about storage doesn't go very well at all. I plan to return to Tokyo within 10 years. I'm working while thinking about what to do next time so I can make use of this experience of moving.
